Dr A Loader will be holding a sexual health clinic on a Wednesday afternoon between 1:30pm and 5pm.

The clinic includes a confidential sexual health screening service, emergency contraception and fitting and removal of implants and coils.

These are to be pre-booked appointments only. Please speak to a member of the reception team to book your appointment. These clinics will also be open to patients who are not registered at the practice and are part of a wider network of clinics being made available throughout Gloucester.

Please note if you need to have a contraceptive implant fitted or changed then a doctor will need to prescribe this for you before your appointment so that you can collect it and bring with you to your appointment.

Children’s immunisations

The practice nurses hold a children’s immunisation clinic on a Tuesday afternoon between 1:30pm and 2:30pm and a Wednesday morning between 8:30am and 11am. If this is not convenient you can book a routine nurses appointment.

Maternity care

Antenatal clinics are run in the practice by our midwifes.

Clinics are held on a Wednesday afternoon (by appointment only). For your first appointment with the midwife please use the NHS booking system.

For any further appointments phone 01452 891110.

Initially an appointment needs to be made with the midwife to collect your hand-held notes. A booking appointment will then be arranged, this may be a home visit at approximately 10 weeks gestation, to complete the paperwork.
